Angel with a Rose: Ink: B/W
Boredom. Really... |
 |
Creepy Image: Ink
(Biro)/Pencil: Colour
I was bored in Art Forum... and this formed
itself more than I drew it. I think it's
symbolic o self destruction but I don't know. As
creepy a it is... it looks kind of cool. I think
rwading David mack's Kabuki influenced this... |
 |
F--k You. |
 |
Angel: Computer: Colour
A graphics project that had a lot of time an
effort put into it. The text was required as
part of the project... and this is the image it
conjured... I'm really proud of this one. |
 |
Eyes of a
Tragedy: Ink: B/W
Named after
a line in '3 Libras' from 'A
Perfect Circle'. Discussing
visually the habits of looking
for more in a person than what
might be there. Deep. Maybe... |
 |
Memory: Ink:
B/W
I don't know why it's
called memory. I can't remember.
It was a late night. You expect
me to justify everything? |
 |
Angel:
Ink: B/W
Angel I did in
Printmaking. And will do in
printmaking. The detail will kill
me. Bollocks... |
 |
Small Winged
Angel: Ink: B/W
After working flat out
on the Mortigi Tempo project, it
took me ages to get used to human
proportions again... The end
result was quite pleasing... |
 |
California:
Computer: Colour
A Gomez song this time.
I can't remember why I did this,
but I know I got lazy on the
top... I'll do better next time.
Promise. Cross my heart... |
 |
Roadside
Advertising: Pen/CG: Colour
This turned out... interesting.
Me trying to cross my pen work
with elements of design... didn't
work as well as I'd hoped. The
actual piece is about how some
things just get unavoidable, like
advertising. |
 |
Call
Me Sane And I'll Think You're
nuts: Pen: Colour
Another of the sketches
I did while on my so called
'holiday', namely a play on some
of my older drawings to explain
how I felt at the time. |
 |
Fashion
Victim of 1 a.m.: Ink/Marker:
Colour
Quick texta coloured
sketch of a girl in a half fancy
dress. Which was drawn very late
at night. I don't know whether
this had a point or not. |
 |
Crush:
Pencil: Greyscale
Based around a song by
the now parted Smashing Pumpkins,
off of their Gish album. The
greylead sketch wasn't all that
impressive, but it works well for
diversity in Uni folios... |
 |
Motion
Picture Soundtrack: Computer:
Colour
Slightly abstract
concept based on MPS by
Radiohead. The original version
of this song is better than the
finished one. I'm running out of
comments. |
 |
Mr. Power:
Computer: Colour
A fellow by the name of
DJGrandpa needed a cover for his
EP on a robot character of his...
even though it took a while for
me to get to it, I still made a
mistake! Dammit... Mr. Power (c)
DJGrandpa, methinks. |
 |
Cherry: Pen:
B/W
Pumpkins song from the
1979 single. Also abstract, which
is a pity because it's too subtle
for me to remember the meaning...
AAARG! Also part of the Catharsis
Project. |
 |
Pearly: Ink:
B/W
Radiohead song,
interpreted to be about the
materialistic culture. And my odd
connections with it. |
 |
Porcelina
of the Vast Oceans: Pen: Colour
Yet another pen sketch
from the Catharsis project. A
Pumpkins song again. |
 |
SD Angel
drawing: Computer: Colour
It may be small, but it
took a lot of work to colour
right. The flagship design for
the 'good' pages... Borealis (c)
me... Yes that's Satan getting
beamed up. |
 |
SD Demoness:
Computer: Colour
Design for evil pages.
Don't ask how she got the
lighter, I don't smoke... (and if
I did carry a lighter, it would
be for this reason.)... Australis
(c) me. |
 |
Lift:
Computer: Colour
Another Radiohead song. and
a very good song. The lyrics are
on the picture. I can't explain
this one... sorry |
 |
Of Rage:
Ink: B/W
I can't explain this either,
but it's another angel. Pissed
off. The wings are getting
better.... This is part of my
school art folio. |
 |
Girl
Turning: Computer: Colour
An old picture, but I was
fiddling around with colouring
stuff in Photoshop, and this came
out well. I have no further
statements... |
 |
Angel
sitting: Ink: B/W
I don't know why, but one
thing I like drawing more than a
mutilated children's character is
an angel. Which makes a complete
contrast. On the one hand, a
bloody death; on the other, a
peaceful girl with wings. Tell me
if you see the logic.... (c) me,
because she may yet have a
purpose *said with head rested on
hands akin to Gendou Ikari*... |
 |
The
Panic/Vomit: Ink: B/W
Ah yes, where would I be
without Radiohead.... Probably a
hell of a lot happier. The title
comes from the lyrics to
'Paranoid Android', the picture
reminds me of the end of the film
clip (the one with 'Robin and
friends'). If ANYONE can decifer
that song, I would sure as hell
like to know what it means....
Jonah (c) me, yes that is Jonah
again... |
 |
Jonah
(weird version): Pencil:
Greyscale
He looks weirder everytime I
draw him. (No. 2 most annoying
spot to get sunburn: feet... why?
Shoes.) (c) me and Caddy |
 |
Girl
like Jonah: Pencil: Greyscale
'Nother weird picture.... I
wonder if she's also a weet bix
kid.... (truth to tell, i haven't
had weet bix in about a year...)
(c) me.... and probably that
Caddy guy as well. |
 |
Face +
Ghost: Computer: Colour
This would have to be one of
my personal favourites... I drew
it quickly, coloured it quickly,
gave it a simple background, and
it turned out AMAZING compared to
what I expect. 'Face and Ghost'
is the name of a song by Live,
and most of the connections ar
subtle, but they're there. ...
(c) me. I wish I could draw like
that all the time... |
 |
New Jonah 2:
Ink: B/W
Inks done by Caddy. It's
_meant_ to look rough for all
those picky people out there. I
personally reckon it worked out
well. (But that's just my opinion
and opinions are extremely
biased...) (c) me and Caddy
again. Just like the other
pictures of Jonah. Funny that. |
 |
Jonah:
Computer: Colour
Who is Jonah?... Why is he
important?... Is he a Weet Bix
Kid?... Find out soon, in Davo
Productions... (c) Me
and Caddy... |
 |
Girl
turning: Ink: B/W
This drawing scares me, it's
only a sketch and it turned out
surprisingly well... 1:30am stuck
with the image of some girl in my
head, stuck for something to draw
and getting it right first
time... IT'S AN OMEN!!! THE WORLD
WILL END!!! (...again.... I think
we have had countless armageddon
predictions....) YAAAAAAH!!!! |
