.
Megaman
.
Neon Genesis Evangelion
.
Sonic the Hedgehog *
.
Street Fighter/Furry
.Transformers *
.Anything Else... *

.AKIRA:

One of my all time favourite Animes, about Biker punks stumbling over freaky blue kids, and the usual Japanese exaggerated screaming. Go see it if you haven't. 12 years old and it's still amazing.

Kaneda: Ink: Colour
Does anyone know the name of Kaneda's gang? All right, we know their rivals are the 'clowns', but we never find out if there's a collective term for Kaneda's gang... Ramble. Kaneda (c) Akira Comitee whatever they are. I want that bike.

.DRAGON BALL:

I used to watch this... but I got sick of it when the fights dragged on for so long. So I found a site that put up the comics and beat it to the punch line. Not so big a fan of it... (c) Toei Animation. I think.

Goku: Ink: B/W
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Dragon Ball Z. If I'm up early enough in the morning I'll actually watch it. But HOW THE HELL DO YOU MANAGE TO DRAG ON A BATTLE FOR MORE THAN TEN EPISODES? I read the mangas instead. Much better. And faster. (c) Toei Animation, I think...

.FINAL FANTASY VII:

Ah, yes, Final Fantasy VII. I still fiddle around with my savefile sometimes. It took forver to get those damn knights of round... but it was worth it. (c) Squaresoft.

Aeris: Pen: Green?:
Another pen drawing... Why do I torture myself like this... Oh well, what I feel is a very good image. Everything just worked. (c) Squaredudes.

.GOLD DIGGER:

A great comic by Fred Perry which has nowhere near the appreciation it deserves... go to Cheetaholics for a start... (c) Fred Perry.

Britanny: Ink: B/W
Brit in her were-cheetah form eyeing off Stryyp's credit card... spooky. And me testing different human styles. (c) Fred Perry

.MEGAMAN:

This game, released by capcom, has to be one of the longest running game series ever. The newer games are cool as ever. For more on MegaMan, see CAPCOM about it.

Bass: Computer: Colour
The not so well known enemy/friend/whatever of the blue bomber. Or as some people call him; Fish-head... (c) Capcom.

.NEON GENESIS EVANGELION:

My absolute favourite anime. I'm currently suffering withdrawal symptoms. Must borrow the tapes off of someone.... You can find a tonne (I'm not exaggerating here) of links at www.anipike.com , for all your anime needs....

Asuka with wings: Ink: B/W
Asuka with wings. Indeed. Bah... You write these things after two weeks of travelling. Asuka (c) Anthrax... Um... Gainax. Woops.
Asuka: Ink: B/W
Asuka in the one piece from episode 8... I hope to colour this soon... (c) Gainax
Mana: Computer: Colour
Mana KIrishima from the Girlfriend of Steel Game... The actual ink original was done with a brush pen... next to impossible to find... but good to use once you get the hang of it... (C) Gainax
Asuka with Monkey: Computer: Colour
An Asuka picture with a little more meaning to it. The connections between her childhood and her sadness... I just wish I'd done the Background a little better. Oh well... (c) Gainax. Expect a picture of Mana from the Eva Japanese game here soon. I'm warning you.
Asuka: Ink + Watercolour: Colour
Proof that I stray occasionally beyond the bounds of computers and pens. The second child. Again. the paper was screwed up a bit... damn. (c) Gainax
Asuka in dress: Ink: B/W
Proof that no matter how many different mediums I try I always go back to using a fineliner. I'm slowly learning to use a brush.
SD Eva-01: Ink + Pencil: Colour
Colour's a little off, but that was the only shade of green I could find at the time... Those of you who haven't seen any of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's work are missing out on something big time... (c) Gainax...
SD Eva-01 with gun: Computer: Colour
I know what you're up to. That's it, look at his stuff and then when he least suspects you suck out his brain! You aliens are all the same, y'know you.... ehem. (c) Gainax..... I'm watching you... Dang aliens...
Unit 03: Computer: Colour
This is Evangelion Unit 03. Evangelion Unit 03 is black. Evangelion Unit 03 is black because Nerv is an equal oppurtunity employer (I'm gonna be in trouble for that one)... (c) Gainax.
Unit 02: Computer: Colour
Behold! The eva I have been putting off drawing for 8 months. Usually I'd tell you why... but to be perfectly honest I can't remember... (I hope it wasn't some sort of religious conflict thing...) (c) Gainax.
Rei: Computer: Colour
Mental Note: Caffiene counteracts effects of Radiohead's 'OK Computer'... (c) Gainax
Shinji: Computer: Colour
Mental Note: Stop wasting paper on mental notes... (c) Gainax.
Asuka: Computer: Colour
As you can see, I now am becoming bored... I like having holidays, but not the boredom... this looks a bit more like Asuka than the other ones. (c) Gainax
Super-Deformed Unit 00': Computer: Colour
Slightly less disproportioned blue version of Rei's evangelion unit. ...........So I'm addicted...... (c) Gainax
Super-Deformed Bardiel/Unit 03: Computer: Colour
SD Eva 03, a.k.a the 13th Angel, a.k.a Bardiel the angel of hail, a.k.a the oversized door to door salesman, a.k.a a.k.a a.k.a a.k.a....... (c) Gainax
Evangelion Unit 01: Pencil: Greyscale
More experimentation, at least I know exactly what one of those things look like (if you saw the other picture and said "Hey... that ain't right! I'm gonna kill this guy for blaspheomy!" then you'll know what I'm on about). Soon I'll have more pictures of the actual characters rather than just mecha. (c) Gainax

.SONIC THE HEDGEHOG:

The best known Video games character WorldWide, Sega's Mascot and one of the major influences in my furry artwork (as if ya couldn't tell...). For more on the Blue Blur, I recommend SONIC HQ.

Sonic & Shadow: Computer: Colour
I wanted to make a design for a Sonic T-shirt... but I never really got there...This started out as that idea. That ad I've wanted to draw Shadow... both (c) Sega.
Knuckles: Computer:Colour
Okay, so he's leaning alittle too much... and the background sucks monkey balls. You do it.... (c) Sega.
Tails: Computer: Colour
The first thing I drew for the year 2000. He must feel proud... (c) Sega... Freaky little mutant...
Super Sonic: Computer: Colour
I got carried away with the chrome filter in Photoshop. This is the adventure version of Sonic, not the original. Must work on backgrounds.... (c) Sega
Julie-Su: Computer: Colour
Most of the colouring I've done was using lines and the fill tool... Now I have a quicker way! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I like this colouring.... Julie-Su (c) Archie Comics/ Sega.
Knuckles: Computer: Colour
Knuckles, in his adventure look. WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST LEAVE THEM AS THEY WERE! Note to makers of Sonic Comics everywhere: STOP LICKING SEGA'S @$$... (c) Sega
Princess Sally: Computer Colour
Probably the most quick witted and smartest characters in the comics, which probably explains the cult following that errupted when they tried to kill her... (c) Archie Comics/ Sega.
Sonic (Adventure look): Computer: Colour
Sonic, again... The background was made using one of the promorional pictures for Sonic Adventure... the foreground is mine!... (c) Sega.

.STREET FIGHTER/FURRY:

Another long running games series, and a big fave of mine. Most of the drawings concerning it, however, are part of the (now defunct) Street Furry Project. For a place to start, try the creators at CAPCOM.

Ken Masters: Ink: B/W
Ken all buffed up. And disproportionate. But all muscley people are. I'm sure I spelt the word muscley wrong. Either that or just invented it. But I doubt it. Ken (c) Capcom.
Espio/Rain: Computer: Colour
F'it (sorry, but I am _not_ happy today), it's just another Street Furry pic. (c)Sega and whoever made Mortal Kombat.
Knuckles/Wolverine: Computer: Colour
Knuckles in a Wolverine costume... AND IT ISN'T SD!... Sort of.... The reason this is in the Street Fighter Section is because it's for the Street Furry Project... (c) Sega/Marvel
SD Shockwave/Adon: Computer: Colour
This SD thing has gone toooooooooooooo far... Shockwave (c) me, Adon (c) Capcom...
SD Knuckles/Ken: Computer: Colour
...ARRRRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!..... Knux (c) Sega, Ken(c) Capcom... ... ... ... (I do this '...' thing too much, don't I?... AWW CRAP... Aaargh... sigh...)

.TRANSFORMERS:

Sparked by Dreamwave's new Transformers series, I remembered my affinity for these lovable killing machines.

Optimus Prime: Computer: Colour
Behold the leader in all his glory. Yay. This took forever to do, merely because of the detail in inking. I feel sorry for the guys doing the comics. (c) Hasbro...

.ANYTHING ELSE:

Anything else...

Spiderman: Computer: Colour
An inside cover artwork for the University magazine Crossfire... where extremist groups seem to love using the letter 'y'...

E-Mail: masked_ferret@hotmail.com for any comments, queries or criticism (CONSTRUCTIVE criticism... Flames will be dealt with...) (Creatively...). And any job offers, etc. They'd always be of help.

Useless Information:
One of my own characters, Shockwave, was listed at
Artail Productions as a Sonic Freedom Fighter profile. I dunno if he still is... Maybe...
